Building Aware's mental health app
Awere is a mental-health platform designed to help people build emotional awareness through guided sessions, live group experiences, and personal reflection. This project focused on shaping a calm, supportive product ecosystem that feels both structured and deeply human.
Two synchronized flows support Awere’s live sessions: a participant view centered on presence, clarity, and ease, and a facilitator view designed for structure and guidance. Participants follow the rhythm of the session, while facilitators lead each step through built-in instructions and controls—creating a smooth and shared experience for everyone.
Alongside the live experience, an asynchronous flow lets users move through the session independently while still receiving guided prompts and reflections. All session content is created and maintained in the same CMS, allowing effortless reuse across both self-guided and live formats.
These custom visual assets were designed to support reflection and focus during live sessions, with a system flexible enough for other artists and designers to contribute new content.
Awere’s design system was intentionally small but agile—built around core components, typography, and interaction patterns, and expanded continuously as new UI needs emerged.
